With more than 210 entries the 2010 Multi Europeans promises once again to become the greatest Hobie Event in the World! Sailors from around the world are preparing to participate in the greatest event in 2010. From as far as Australia people are chartering Hobies to get the exciting feeling of the Europeans in the nice Luebeck Bight. Located at its mouth Travemuende is one charming village well known to sailors for its annual Travemuende Week sailing program. Starting with two training sessions on Thursday and Friday prior to the event, world renown sailor Mitch Booth will prepare the Hobie community for a fascinating week of sailing. Entries are still open under [www.travemuender-woche.de]. So sign up if you donīt want to miss the most exciting Hobie event of 2010.
Spectators will also get their share of the event, when on Monday the TIGERs and WILDCATs will perform a show race on the Trave River. Each race being just 10 mins long and only 20 metres away from the spectators. Thursday will be the show race for the HC 16. Nations are asked to nominate 2 teams each for the TIGER/ WILDCAT and two for the Hobie 16 one day prior to the show race. Prize giving for the show races will be approx 1,5 hours after the first start. So, sign up and get the exciting feeling of live broadcasting action to the spectators ashore.
